Tia Ramey is a communications expert, educator, and advocate dedicated to empowering communities through storytelling, education, and outreach. With over a decade of experience in government, business, and nonprofit leadership, she specializes in bridging the gap between resources and underserved communities.

As President of RM Communications, Tia has provided marketing consulting and digital media strategy to small businesses nationwide since 2012, with a focus on elevating minority-owned enterprises. She also served as Communications Manager for the City of Gahanna, overseeing 14 departments and 21 communication channels, and as Deputy Director in Governor Mike DeWine’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, where she helped nonprofits build capacity and access critical state resources.​

A passionate educator, Tia teaches social media, marketing, and self-branding as an adjunct instructor at the Columbus College of Art & Design and The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College MAPS program. She has also designed curricula for schools and families that encourage responsible digital engagement and entrepreneurship for youth.
